Running Shoes Advice please

If you are a forefoot striker ie: you land on the ball of your foot when you run then the shoes you get won't matter much as your body already absorbs most of the shock efficiently (latest studies from Harvard university back this up).
Take any advice re: back injury from them with a grain of salt, they have no medical training. If you're back pain is a problem then you are better off consulting a sports medicine therapist / sports injury clinic rather than someone working for minimum wage in a running store.
If you like a shoe, see if they have the previous model as a lot of the time the only difference between them is the colour and the price - the older one having a significant price reduction. They will be able to tell you if the latest one is any different to an older one.0 -
