Flights to New Zealand Aug '05

I'm hoping to travel to Auckland, New zealand in August 2005 with 2 friends. Could anyone help me find the cheapest price for flights, i will be travelling around 10th August and returning around the 31st August. Any help would be appericated. Also would i have to pay for the flights right now or can i just pay a deposit?
Thanks in advance

Where will you be flying from Kayleigh?
  • Flights depart London to NZ unless you get a regional add-on for example from Leeds/bradford etc.

https://www.AIRNZ.co.uk and https://www.Travelbag.co.uk both have flights for thpse dates at £840 inc taxes. https://www.QANTAS.co.uk are offering Auckland for £822 BUT that departs on the 15th

    Hi,

We've booked through Austravel the last couple of times, they were ok though I'm not sure how competitive their prices were. We've always flown out from Heathrow because that's the cheapest UK option (we live in the Midlands so it's not too inconvenient).

I have seen deals in the newspapers before, from companies operating out of London. I can't remember why we didn't book with them though I think it might have been the dates that they had available didn't suit us at the time.

You could try some of the websites for Kiwis living in the UK, they might have sections or forums on how to get to NZ for cheap! The only ones I know of are:

    https://www.tntmagazine.com
    https://www.gumtree.com

Otherwise and failing all of that, lastminute.com etc?

Good luck and I hope you can post any good deals that you find!! :)

    Hello again,

I forgot to suggest STA travel https://www.statravel.co.uk especially if you are a student they might have some good deals for you??

I had a look on their special offers site and they are advertising fares to NZ from £665 return "valid all year long" and the number to ring to find out more and/or book is 0870 1 600 599. (Although I very much doubt that during high-season the fares will be £665!)

With Air NZ you can go either via Singapore or Los Angeles in order to get to NZ.

In the case of the US you must satisfy the same visa requirements as if you were going to the US for a holiday.

    Suggest you check http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_web/visa/niv/vwp.htm

I went with Air NZ and stopped at Raratonga and Fiji going out and Hawaii and LA on the way back. You're allowed so many stops. Brilliant. I llike Auckland too.
