Red paint & lolly stains!

Hi, I hope some one can help me!!
My daughter managed to get some paint on our beech dining room table despite all the newspaper I put down, all the colours apart from red have come out, even the black and purple.
Then today, she left a wrapper from an red ice pop on the table and its melted leaving more red stains.
I am so cross as I normally buy Calypso sugar & colour free ice pops from Tesco but Morrisons don't sell them so we had to make do with Thornton Planet ice pops instead as they were the only "freeze yourself" lollys thay had left.
Is there anything that will get these stains out without damaging my table even more? They have runined it completly.
Is it worth writing to Thornton? Theres nothing on the box to say that they might stain, and how awful to have such powerful colours in them in the first place. The paint did come with a warning that it may stain.
Thanks
Sarah
