Aww, i'm sad. I thought it was a unique idea and pretty good (even if I say so myself :p ) I Googled it and there's actually cake companies called it in Australia and America, so I wasn't the first. Boo!!

Can't find anywhere with the name in the UK though.

Personally I'd avoid using "cupcake" in the title as you don't know what you will be selling in 5 years time. The cupcake market is getting rather saturated and they have only really taken off in the last 2 years, who knows how popular they will be in a few years time...it will be hard to rebrand your business by then.

I definitely agree with this. A friend who is in the business has said she has already noticed that the cupcake fad has peaked. The problem with having 'cupcake' in the title is that people will assume that is all you do and may not think to approach you for something else. I would go for something more general. Sorry, but I am no good at thinking up names!

OK, American diner, Doris day, 50s housewife inspired (ish)

    Bakersville

Dibs That Cake! (dibs being a 50s slang term)

    Ivy League Cakes..

I do like peaches peaches suggestion of Crumbs!...its punchy, memorable, like saying 'wow' but also suggesting thats all that will be left, as the cakes are so good!!!!

Cant imagine good all Doris saying crumbs though, more of an english expression.

If all else fails you will have to call it 'Calamity Cakes' :rotfl:
