My house insureance last April took areound 6 months to pay out. My car insurance done last August has been paid within the last couple of weeks. Quidco told me a while back that they had problems with More Than but that it would all be paid.

My house renewal quote has just arrived so I will be looking for quotes again too.

I reckon you wiill evenutally get your cash back - keep your fingers crossed!

I took out three policies with More than over the years and they all paid out, the last one was a couple of months ago from a policy I took out last year.

I also took car insurance through More Th>n in (via Quidco) September, and am still waiting for the £75 Cashback to be paid

We did it in early 2009 and it was eventually refused though for reasons I haven't fathomed. We only went with them because of the cashback so I feel totally ripped off.

Then my Kwik Fit car insurance should have paid up and didn't. Ripped off again for around £50.

I've also found out that NONE of my Tesco transactions are even registering on Quidco so I'm missing around £40 or more. Not impressed!

I think I'll be defecting to another site, I'm hearing others are more reliable.

Obsessing about remortgaging and interest rates all day, every day:)

We have used Quidco for all our house & car insurances for the past 2 years and so far all have paid. That's been with more th>n and others. Some took about 6 months to finally get paid, but they were always the cheaper option so thats why we went with them; Quidco was the bonus.

    Hi,

MORE TH>N take around 6 months from purchase date to the cashback coming through. This periods is now the norm for insurance products due to the amount of checks and and hand-offs involved in order to combat fraud and abuse of the system.

    Kind regards,
    Jules"

I don`t know why anyone would use Aviva or More Than insurance- everytime I have done a quote for car insurance they`ve quoted me £200 more than what i`m paying and that includes "2 months free", utter rip off!

I gotta disagree - I went with Aviva this year (via Quidco) as the premiums were cracking. I even put the house insurance with them too. It alll depends on the car, driver history, location, etc. It worked for me anyway.

I'll be swapping again this year (as I do every year) just to get the Quidco cash for being a new customer.
