Northern Rock - I think I am going to cry!!

I will keep this VERY long story short but basically, in Dec 09, NR took a payment of nearly double my standard monthly payment. Eventually, I got this money back after numerous phone calls and then finding that the muppet at NR had refunded to the wrong sort code etc etc. I got £100 compensation for the hassle.
Today, I receive a letter saying I am in arrears with my mortgage! It seems that when they took the overpayment, they allocated it to my unsecured loan. When they made the refund, they took it from my secured loan, hence putting me in arrears.
I cannot believe the appalling service and I have not even gone into all the other little issues along the way.
I know you cannot advise me, this is more a rant against how poor the Northern Rock mortgage service is!

You do have rights......but you still need common sense.

Its a shame really, I think they were great. But they have lost staff and moral may not be great. Does not help you but I am sure it would have an effect on service.
