Does anyone have experience of the ATV group, also known as TAG? Their address is Hove.

I have been offered a job as a chat line operator, but have been asked to pay £100 up front for the premium rate telephone number.

Any advice would be welcomed.

I paid the £100 deposit for the number to AVT group and they have not provided the service the recruitment department assured me i would receive. I receive no calls or very few, for example- one 3 min call in 2 hours. I got fed up with sitting by the phone for nothing, if i rang them, they fobed me off, if i emailed them, they were either rude or fobed me off. I did not log onto my account because i was away and realised i was wasting my time, they told me i had breached the terms of the contract and they can no longer guarantee the call volume. As they did not direct me any calls per hour or one 3min call in an hour to start with, they just keep the £100. I would tell anyone who is thinking of joining AVT group-AVOID THEM.

Any "job" that asks you to pay them up front to allow you to work is 99% likely to be a scam.

You should not have to pay anyone to work.
