Well, somebody had to start this thread. :-)

Never mind the whole procurement fiasco, can someone tell me how I get appointed to the Board of NIW and get paid £18000 p.a. for only working 2 days per month??????

Who the heck is in charge of these people, and why are they allowed to waste public money in this way?

£750 a day isnt uncommon in consultancy rates.

Might I suggest that you get 'well in' with the relevant old boy network... [sorry I don't have any leads for you]
Make sure that like the top bankers you have NO relevant qualifications and you demand a huge salary with a 'no liability' clause written in.
I think this is how these things generally work.

While my tax is paying for it its near time it started getting uncommon.
