Transferring a pension

At a previous job I paid into a Norwich Union stakeholder pension scheme for a year, and the total contributions should have been about £1500. I have now joined the CIS stakeholder pension scheme at my new workplace - what are the pros and cons of transferring my Norwich Union fund into the CIS one? I'd like to keep things…

It isnt difficult to save up £250k over 40 years. It gets a lot harder over 20 years and is near damned impossible over 10 years.

Early planning is key to it.
