TBH I would only bother with this if you live close by and can get there very early! I have gone to various shows via applause store however don't always get in and never managed to get into QI. They heavily oversubscribe shows to ensure all seats are full and lots of people are turned away despite having been issued a "ticket". You can apply for a priority ticket to a future show if you get turned away but remember that you need to make the journey to the venue in London and get turned away first.JULES

In addition to previous post - just to clarify that the priority ticket may not always be for the same show.JULES

I would definitely second Julesiep's post above.
I got 2 tickets for a recording of QI last year, and even though we turned up just under 2 hours before the "doors open" time given by Applause Store we still got turned away.
The tickets do point out that you have to be there in advance of doors opening, but don't give you any idea of just how long. Can't say I'd much fancy spending more than 2 hours standing in a queue anyway, but that's probably just me!
I know the tickets were free, but the 2 return train fares to London weren't, so wouldn't want anyone else to miss out because of not getting there early enough.0 -
Thanks Julie and Sue; I won't be gutted now if I don't get any.
That's just not right is it...the over subscribing I mean. I would have to travel a long way and would be so upset not to get in.0 -
most boring show ever
Slight exagerration, but well past its sell by date, and probably should now be renamed QUI. Why does Fry waste time on it? Could go the way of Ross if it drags on much longer. Old, tired and lazy: move on.
Nevertheless, if you still like it (sad) and are prepared to camp overnight (sadder) :
great price.0 -
I guess I'm sad then...oh dear, never mind...:j:rotfl:0
