Bio-oil

Has anyone tried it before on scars? I have a large 10mo scar on my back from an operation and was hoping that someone can tell me it's wonderful or it's awful.

TIA.

Not used it myself but my sister used it on her stretch marks and my sister-in-law used it on her scar after having a tummy tuck and both raved about it
;) If you think you are too small to make a difference, try getting in bed with a mosquito!

It's good, but try cica-care, they are gel patches and if used as directed, you will see a big difference. I got mine on prescription. Normally costing about £19.99

The Bio Oil was available cheaper than in Boots in T J Hughes, not sure if they still have it but definately worth checking out if you are going to buy it.

    Hi V Chic Chick

I have tried it and wouldn't rate it personally.

I also have a scar on my back and it does fade eventually although still noticeable
    I haven't got one!

I've purchased Bio oil in the past for my stretch marks, but didn't see a big difference to be honest.. I actually stopped using it once I've got half way through (which took ages, cos a little goes a long way)

I've heard that it works better on recent scars, rather than one that has been around for a while.

Dr Haushkca also has an oil that helps with stretch marks and scars, I havent used it but have used other things from their range and they are good.

I got this on prescription too as I had an op on my neck but didn't notice any differance, was hard to keep it in place though.

I had a big raised lumpyish scar on my face and after using it at home,I noticed a big difference, as the scar flattened, hasn't dissappeared altogether but it's not raised.
