Hi,
Right this is the thing i am very worried and am getting increasingly scared and paranoid of debt collectors/emails/letters in the post.
I was recently (over the last 2 years) addicted to Payday Loans and now i am in big trouble.
I have loans from:
1) PaydayUK - £200
2) Wonga - £200
3) Handy Cash - £200
4) PerfectPaydayLoans.com - £200
5) Toothfairy Finance - £200
6) Pounds Till Payday - £200
7) Cash Genie - £200
Now i have no way of paying these back because i am on benefits (£120 a fortnight). What the hell do i do god knows what they total to now a couple of them are from last year.

Best thing would be to contact one of the free debt charities and get some help writing to these people, stopping any additional charges and organising an affordable repayment plan.
£1400 @ horrendous interest rates needs urgent attention!
Good luck!One life.0 -
right ok, that sounds not to bad these companies are getting increasingly more "violent" worded with their letters and emails0

Why don't you post on this board to get some practical tips on how you can move things forward? http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=760

Oops, pressed wrong button. lol
Don't let them into the house under any circumstances. Talk through an open window or letterbox. You do not have to open the door.0 -
Have a read of this thread too. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1837507&highlight=dealing+with+bailiffs0

I would make it a priority of ringing one of the debt charities today and letting them help you write to you your creditors to put a stop to all these charges/interest that will be applied to these accounts.
Once you have a full picture of what you are dealing with and somebody who can help you then you will not feel as stressed - believe me!0 -
Are u a tennant where u live ?0

Bayliff's can only come to your house with a court order, remember that. I was also under the impression that the courts cannot issue a CCJ for debts under £250. Might be wrong but can somebody clarify this? So I think it is unlikely these sharks will get a court order IMO. But please wait for someone to verify what I have said before taking it as gospel.0
