    I bought when I was 40. I lived in a high house price area, where wages for "the common oiks" weren't great... as a single person I could never quite ever earn enough to buy the cheapest houses. Then I moved close to the bottom of the last lull, to an area where houses were cheaper ... and got my first (only - and short-lived) good job/career break. It didn't last though, company was bought out and I've been bumbling about on poor pay ever since.

    I had one once though :)

    Seem to have dropped a bit around here but also seem to be static, Certainly not seen any real rises.
