£4.50 cashback NO SPEND - Loophole on Tesco Free Sim EXPIRED

Hi all, grab this one quick
Via Quidco, you get £4.50 cashback for activating a tesco free sim card.
http://www.quidco.com/tesco-mobile-free-sim/
I ordered the sim and the packaging mentioned dialing a number to register the sim for extra credit when you top up (the tv advertised triple credits). This is a free call which can be done straight away. Now here is the crux, this call activates the sim and triggers the cashbask. No spend required.
For Tescos benefit, this sim triple credit deal seems great and hopefully they'll get enough new customers not to close this loophole, but grab it quick whilst its there. :A

Freebies you don't really need can be given to your local Hospice Charity shop so they can raise funds they desperately need. Pass on your good fortune :A

They only pay out when the card is activated. Follow the instructions as above and it works. Mine has validated in full after I phoned that free call number. If you activated the card then it is possible you may have accessed the site prior to using Quidco. Always clear the cookies in your browser to avoid problems as if you have a tesco mobile cookie already it won't track to Quidco. This is the case with most merchants on most cashback sites. Run something like CCleaner to ensure the cookies are flushed completely. http://www.ccleaner.com/Freebies you don't really need can be given to your local Hospice Charity shop so they can raise funds they desperately need. Dont forget you can use the free credit to get more cashback through quidco by signing up to jamster for an extra £4.37 of cashback.
Meaning you can effectively get £8.87 cashback on each tesco sim you register and it says on the tesco site you can apply for a maximum of 4.
Happy days!Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

CCleaner is good, but much quicker and easier is to simply temporarily switch to the "Private Browsing" mode of your browser: in Mozilla Firefox, it's Tools | Start Private Browsing. This gives you a 'clean slate' with no cookies stored.
Then log into Quidco and make your transaction.
When done, do Tools | Stop Private Browsing to get back to where you were. Simples.
(You do need a reasonably up-to-date version of your browser of course)...0
