I have been offered £13,549.00 to surrender my endowment on my house by (surrender link) the endowment has been running since 26th March 1986
Current value is £12,540
min pay out at maturity is £16,583 (pay out date) 27th March 2011
Standard life is the mortgage company it should have made £26,800 so have a shortfall of about £10,000 because it was before a certain date that I took out the policy, I have had no luck in getting a mis sold endowment compensation, which is really annoying because I WAS miss sold the endowment.
What I want to know is, would it be better to sell the policy or just keep paying into it for another 5 years till maturity.....regards Mick.
