  • Many thanks Standupguy for your input. I guessed they were trying it on again as it goes with their reputation. Just wanted to have someone else confirm it before I write to them again.

I have had to drag this up again as basicaly they have now said they will accept the voluntary termination providing that a rather large figure of colletion fees are paid first. Over 400.00 These are default notice charges.

Before the last letter (Read above) they sent me this first. I replied stating that collection fees were not mentioned in the agreement and my account is 0.00 in arrears and the figure of over half of the total amount repayable has been made so these so called collection fees are not part of the terms of voluntary termination.

They are now saying that they are "overdue instalments" Yet in the same letter my account is in arrears by 0.00.

    Can they do this???

Also the last letter states the the car must have a valid MOT certificate for 1 month after the time that the car is handed over. This also is not stated in the agreement. The Car had a vlid MOT for over 6 weeks from the time i gave notice of voluntary termintation. Again the agreement states the car must have a valid MOT whcih it does at present bu this will run out at the end of the month but the voluntay termnation was given in mid Febuary.

So two questions basically but obviously they are not in any kind of hurry.
