B&Q refunds

This has probably been posted before but I've only just discovered that B&Q no longer give credit notes if you haven't got the receipt.I buy loads of stuff there every month and many times I had lost the receipt thus getting a credit note to use later.However, I was told today that the policy has changed -along with the return dates- now only 45 days.!!

It changed on the 15th February

the new policy is -

Changed your mind or excess to requirements - 45 days to return with reciept and if paid by card, that must be presented as well.

Faulty item - reciept or proof of purchase with card if paid by it.

Made to measure items are non-refundable.

seems fair enough, we just need to keep the receipts.
