Could be worse? Well I suppose it will be in 2 months time when JSA stops and I get no support anywhere and have no job.... and my husband stresses even more than he is already because his pay is all we've got coming in and it doesn't quite stretch to meet the bills we need to pay. That will certainly be worse.

Well I've been looking since September... there's very little in my area of expertise, even though I have a CA I have specialised and there are a lot of people out there with relevant experience so why would an employer hire me to have to train me in the face of the probability that as soon as something more suited pops up I'll jump ship....

in the meantime I have debts to pay, bills to deal with and all while I am still struggling to cope with PND so excuse me if I have negative moments because I am finding life difficult

    It could be worse???

I have not got a wage coming in after tomorrow and a mortgage and 2 kids to feed and clothe. Sorry, withdrawing a promotion is not the same.

Sorry if me being positive about life annoys you but I find negativity begets negativity...no worries though I'll leave you guys to your moans.

I am a positive person Becky but I dont think saying 'it could be worse' is exactly positive.

Saying 'I am sure you will hear soon' or 'good luck' is.

I WAS not moaning, I was asking for the phone to ring!

Don't you dare make out we're being moaners.

We were just trying to point out that we have issues and being condescended to by someone who seems to have little clue about how life works is galling to say the least.

How can you put having to withdraw from a promotion and therefore money you never had in the same category to having lost a complete income with dependents.

Honestly Becky sometimes you might want to think before you type...
