Problems with mycity deal (£1 cinema tix)

I wanted to put this out there to see if anyone else has had a good or bad experience with this.

I signed up well early this morning and got onto the deal, however, my mate who's on the deal got a 'confirmation' email, I got a 'problems with your payment method' email cancelling it.

Now I knew there was plenty of money available, so I called them up, and apparently the email is in error. I won't be best happy if the tickets don't turn up, however, I'll take him at trust that they're in the post....

same here :( I got this
"On the 10.03.2010 01:13 you bid on the "Pay £1 to watch ANY film at Cineworld up to the value of £12 - including 3D showings!" mycitydeal. Unfortunately an error occurred during attempt to withdraw the sum of £1. Therefore we have to cancel the following order."

There's nothing wrong with my credit card!

Yes, I also received this email saying there was an error with my payment, but I've used my card without any problems elsewhere yesterday and today.

The money came out of my account today but it was for £2.25, with a note on the transaction saying £1.25 charge!

What is this for??? I know £2.25 is still a cracking deal for cinema tickets but I only paid £1!
