Tchibo had these on offer for about £7 I bought one last year, but I cant find them on there web site as it doesn't show a lot of stock

You also get cashback from both Tchibo and Maplins via some of the cashback site and free postage code is on offer for Tchibo in the voucher forum.

EDIT Tchibo out of stock at mo HERE (now no longer available), sadly

It shows a European socket but the one you get is UK plug

Do they tell you the energy used and then you multiply this number by the cost of a unit of energy?

If so do they show you the power used in Joules or kWh?

How hard is the maths, or do I key in a cost in pence / euro cents per kWh and the little unit works it out for me?

Sorry if this is a daft question!

It's able to measure the following:
    RMS voltage
    RMS current
    Active power
    Apparent power
    Line frequency
    Power Factor
    Energy Quantity
    KWH hour

    Hope that helps!

    p.s I love this little thing..!!:D :D

I've got one and, errr..., no it doesn't. It takes its power from the mains so there is a (very low) power consumption. I can't find the thing that tells you how much, though. I'll see if I can't dig it out...
