Re Mortgage bad credit help please

i currently have an interest only mortgage which is on svr however the repayments are still really high and the mortgage company i am with is not the best i want to change companies and go on another fixed rate because i know i can get it cheaper but i have a REALLY bad credit rating because of some problems i had 2 years ago these are still ongoing but things are being cleared and i dont know what to do can anyone give me some advice please
