Is my debt against me or the house i live in?

I currently live my boyfriend, the house is in his name only. I have about £8000 of debt and was wondering if my debt is registered against me or the address where i live? He's worried because his credit score is perfect and doesn't want it ruined, he wants me to say that i still live with my parents and re direct the mail there. I don't think that's fair since it has nothing to do with them. I am trying to pay it off, just need to know if my boyfriend will be affected? Any help would be appreciated.

It`s nothing to do with him either is it....?
anyway , debt is registered to the person not the address , but you must not have any linked finacial products , such as current accounts or his `perfect` credit rating will take a tumble...

Hiya - it is registered against you, not the address, so as long as you don't take out any joint financial products and create a financial association, it wont affect his file.
