Urgg having one of those days

Youi know the ones where you just get sick of the whole debt thing :o/. I've been SLOWLY chipping away with it since 2007 and I've had good success really, closed several loans/cards and refused all new credit etc. The problem is, at the moment I'm paying as much as possible off everything which while meaning debts come down quicker it also means I''m living on the limit of the credit I am using i.e. overdraft. in the long run it means everything in gone quicker but sometimes when people (read banks and Orange) get on your back it's easy to get a bit down about it and wonder if it's really worth bothering with. I mean people who just continbue to live off credit never seem to get half the grief. Don't even know the point of the post really, jsut needed to vent a little.:(

  • I agree with uphillstruggler - I wish I had paid off 79%! That is a fantastic achievement.

I know what you mean about people who live off credit don't have all the hassle, but then you have to think that they have all that to come (everyone has a day of reckoning, and the sooner it comes either the less debt you have or the less interest you have paid)...whereas you are on the debt-free home straight. Not much longer to go...
