hatton garden metals - sell scrap gold form question

I have some unwanted gold that I'd like to send to this company but their online form asks you to specify weights and cts - problem is whilst I suspect most to be 9ct I think some may actually be 18ct (or more). What should I advise on the form? If I'm mistaken I don't want them to think I'm trying to rip them off but in the same respect I don't want them to 'short change' me if I list all as only 9ct.

Could you email HGM them to ask what to do?
Sorry, dont have much advice really!0 -
They wont rip you off. They have a good reputation on here, amongst other places.0

Better to use a face to face company like Lois or manchester Gold Co, who can show you each carat. Its no use getting a good price per gram if your 18 carat is treated as 9 carat0
