cheap courier down south

could someone help me find a cheap courier to cork, surely it can't be as dear as to the mainland

    what sort of package is it? have you tried Fastway couriers - not sure about their rates but they operate a franchise and have been doing lots of advertising over recent months...may be keen to get your business.

    We used fastway as well when we sent boxes down south https://www.fastway.ie if you select Northern Ireland from the area box it will download a PDF of prices. We always got the 6.95 ones even though we where only sending 1 or 2 a week down south. You just call your local driver when you want a pick up.

    it's a huge parcel of reusable nappies, i sold them via guntree but i need to get them to cork, i wil try both those companys tomorrow as i'd never heard of either of them before

    ok i'm only getting round to doing this now, but fastways is confusing me, do i have to send a minimum of 5 parcels?

  • I don't think Fastway will work for a one off delivery. You have to buy a book of tickets upfront and then ring them when you want to organise a delivery. I think you have to buy a book of 20 tickets and each ticket then works out around £4 or £5 each. There is a seperate book of tickets you need to purchase for ROI so unless you are sending regularly this isn't going to work. Your could try sending it by bus or rail.
