I quite like MAC cosmetics, but only own a few of their items because they can be a bit expensive.
Do they have any sales/offers at all? Every time I go their counter or visit their website during sales season (after xmas, etc) it seems that they don't have anything reduced.

Hello
I'm not too sure about discounts.. Have you tried ebay? I have bought items in the past from the US at really good prices.0 -
Ebay can be good but be wary. I got some MAC brushes of ebay and they're fakes. Completely fell apart after a few uses. Make sure you use reputable seller.0

Please be wary of buying from eBay. There are a LOT of fakes. Search here - there's a guide linked on one of the boards.
Your best bet is forums run by make-up fans, like Eyeshadow Sluts - that way you can be fairly sure they're genuine.0 -
Oh - limited edition items can sometimes go for WAY more than they originally cost - one eyeshadow goes for about £45 (Springtime Skipper). Probably why they don't reduce!0

I am a big fan of MAC and have been to a few of their day make-up courses etc, I have never seen any reductions in-store or online, even their 'going going gone' section of items which they are discontinuing is still full price. I try to get friends & family to get me bits when they go to airports because it's slightly cheaper there and I have to save up each time I need a foundation, it is well worth it though and I seriously believe they are the best!0

or if you go to some of the retail outlets, you can pick it up there a bit cheaper - the only one I've been to was the Cosmetic Store at Bicester village. Only a small range, but it does seem to have some nice colours etc0

You should try Urban Decay eye shadow pigments - they are very very similar to the MAC ones, but are half the price (they sell for between £4-6 depending on the website).
Their lip glosses and lipsticks smell like toffee apples too, which is never a bad thing!!
Havent tried their foundations though, so do not know if they are any goodI smile because I have no idea what is going on0 -
I've never known MAC to have a sale or discount, however theres a shop called the 'Cosmetic Company Outlet' where they sell unsold stock from department stores etc. for a lot cheaper than the retail price. Its a bit hit and miss sometimes, but always worth a look.Dance wherever and whenever the feeling takes you

I've just found a website that sells a lot of MAC stuff at good prices: www.cosmetics-skincare.co.uk. I haven't placed an order yet but I've heard (via beauty forums and blogs) that the products are genuine.0

Many thanks for all your replies.
I'll try some of the places you suggested.0
