You're right - to be honest, pretty much the answers I was expecting! I was just wondering if a bit of crawling might earn me a few points! But, I suppose there's no such thing as special treatment in the financial services!

To be honest, it's a bit of a wake up call, being declined - time to pay off my credit cards and live within my means!

:TWell, thats a great attitude to have! :T

If its made you relaise that you have debt to tackle then something good has come out of the decline...and look at it this way - if you had been accepted you would be in more debt! lol

I would still call and ask the question tho

Thanks - even if it's an attitude that needed forcing on me!

Nothing that I would have classed as a debt problem - but apparently the banks have a different opinion! 2 credit cards and an overdraft - they'll have to go!

You're right though - i'll ring and ask! Shy bairns and all that.....
