Can you claim back excess OD charges?

I've seen threads about claming back charges for unpaid Direct Debits, but can you claim back charges for unfair charges for going over your overdraft?
I've just been looking through some old bank statements from Lloyds TSB (we no longer have an account with them and I'm going through the statements to claim back unfair bank charges) and they used to charge us £90 for going over our Overdraft limit.
Can anyone please advise?
Thank you!

Debt as of Sept' 2015 (LBM!): £36,351  (sickening)
Monthly outgoings on debt alone: £1243/month
We're on the right path, we got ourselves here..we're a bit lost, but we'll find our way back again!

First direct told me that the £12 thing only applies to credit cards? Does it apply to current account type overdrafts as they charge me £80 every time I go overdrawn (even by a penny). I wouldn't be so overdrawn if they didn'ty keep charging me so much.
If it is the case, can someone please tell me where I can see this in writing to "prove" to the bank.
Thanks!0 -

Sue your bank, definatley. Youll need to know what you are doing tho, checkout consuer action group. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
