How do I transfer my mortgage to new house and share buy with someone? Please Help!

I have taken out a mortgage of £100k when it was "easy" about two years ago and paid only 5% deposit. I now want to buy a house worth £150k with a friend. I don't have any more deposit to take out a new loan under new higher deposit rules. I want to transfer my £100k mortgage and just let my friend pay for the remaining £50k with a seperate mortgage. Is that possible, or am I heading down a dead end road? Any advise will be greatly appreciated!

You're heading down the wrong road...see a whole of market mortgage adviser and first and foremost ask them to explain the implications of buying with a friend.......0
