Where/how to recycle printer cartridges for charity

Hi all,
I have here 4 Lexmark cartridges (Nos 41 an 42 - colour and B&W) and can't find anywhere to recycle them! I have tried Oxfam, British Cancer, Heart Foundation charity shops, but they don't know what I'm talking about. I'm sure I've read somewhere that there are charities who take them off your hands and can make money out of them?
I don't want to reuse them for myself, and I'd prefer if the money went to a charity rather than make money out of it, or go to a company ie back to Lexmark.
I can post them anywhere - but I don't know where to!
Any ideas?
Thanks
