Hairdressers in Southampton

Hi, I am pretty sure that I am going to post this in the wrong place but I am not sure where else to put it and I could really use some advice.
I live in Southampton and for the past few years I have been getting my hair done in Haringtons in Bedford Place. I have to say that recently I have become very frustrated at their horrendous prices and to be honest I am not happy with how they do my hair so I resent paying that price. The only reason I stay with them is because I really dislike changing salons.
I was hoping that someone could point me in the direction of a well established salon that is very good with modern cut and colour techniques but doesnt charge the national debt for an appointment. Preferably somewhere near the city centre would be best.
