HUGE congratulations to all April 2011 brides and their grooms!! :T

Looking forward to seeing all your pictures and hearing how your days went (hint hint ;)). I will really miss lurking (alright, frequently hijacking :o) this thread; it's one of the best threads on the board. I wish you all the happiness in the world for your futures.

I'm also now back as a Mrs! Congrats to all those who have too :)

We had such a perfect day, I couldn't be happier! My cheeks are aching from smiling non-stop all day yesterday! And despite the gloomy forecasts in the lead up, apart from a couple of tiny drops of rain we had perfect weather for it - which was the biggest worry as most of it was based on being outdoors. People were chilling out on deckchairs and playing garden games - it was soo perfect, I just wish it had lasted longer!!!

Haven't got any photos back yet, but will post them when I do.

Big cheer for all the April brides!!! I'm going to be sad to not have this thread to read constantly, but I guess it's the turn of the May brides now :) xxxx

    I'm a Mrs :)

I was so rushed and everyone kept asking me stupid things I started to get abit stroopy. In 2 hours i did 5 Heads of hair and laced 2 dresses up the back, my make-up which went really well as i only had one practise run and i changed the eye make-up from that one.

We had a bit of a nightmare when the transport for me never turned up! I didn't know who my husband had booked with so could not sort it out. Ended up being totally inelegant but getting there only 30mins late! Rather embarrassing with a crowd of kids and neighbours watching. They probably thought we could not afford any better or something. I finally managed to get in touch with a guest with their mobile on silent as most were switched off to let them know what was what.

Felt a bit flustered but got there! Service went well and when i felt like i was seriously going to laugh myself into a state i thought of something sad. Everything felt really seamless and went well together. We had the lovely dinosaur reading and the sun was beaming in behind the reader it was fab. When we exchanged rings my husbands hand was shaking.

Had a comedy moment when i lost my balance whilst i had an arm round my daughter, husband moved back a step to grab help me and my arm went out and whacked my son in the face with the bouquet. Although i did not realise that till i saw the photo.

I was just so happy the rest of the day everyone was enjoying themselves there was lots of grass for the kids to run off steam (and a small boy to chase me) on. My son bought his rocket launcher (home-made rockets as we lost the originals) and all the kids went mad to pump and launch it.

The weather was perfect all day sunshine and clear skies the kids pics are amazing fun with a hint of dr who weeping angels!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (flick past them fast!) http://www.facebook.com/?ref=logo#!/photo.php?fbid=10150164860303920&set=a.10150164860193920.305975.660933919&type=1&theater
see if that link will work i opened the privacy setting for now but it will close again.

Afternoon and evening was all running behind and things had to change i never got my afternoon tea as the bar was open when we got there and no one seemed to mind (but i was very disappointed). Evening went well a bit much food so a fair bit chucked but lots saved and eaten today. Might be eating pork roast rolls for a week though. I quite fancy a pork korma tomorrow lol.

Sweetie table went down extremely well and not many people had seen one before so they said how unique it was lol good job they don't come in here ;).

Just a few pics of our incredible flowers - http://www.facebook.com/#!/media/set/fbx/?set=a.190520407661535.47573.139997906047119 that were done by Hearts & Flowers in Denton. Would recommend them in a heartbeat. On that note, is there anywhere on here just for recommendations? Everyone involved with our wedding were fantastic and I'd like to give them a bit of a shout out in case it could help other brides
