Not done too badly today, spent £1.60 on a birthday card and used a £10 voucher from Pigsback as the prezzie :D

I did clean my car out yesterday and visited one garage today, but their cars werent as cheap as I was hoping for....need to find some more private garages in the area ready to have a drive round again.

I have also realised that it is almost a necessity for me to downgrade my car to get a decent mortgage....by not having the £180 going out of my account I can get over £25k more!!!

Result Louise - well done and well spotted.

However - make sure you don't saddle yourself with a humoungous mortgage.

    Enjoying reading your diary lots.

    Lots of love

    Thanks for your concern scottishspendaholic.

It is highly unlikely that I'd get a mortgage by myself in this area, but would love to be in a debt free position for when I do meet that special someone (and I will continue to live the mse life) :-)

Have had another good day today, making my first ever Amazon sale to fellow MSE'er LookingAhead of Mr Lewis' The Money Diet. What are the chances of that eh?! After postage and packaging that has brought in a further £2.37 to throw to the credit card! I must be better prepared for my next sale though and buy some jiffy envelopes in bulk rather than succumb to the expensive PO ones!

Have also taken on board Scottishspendaholics babysitting idea and put up a lil advert in the local paper shop window for £1.80 for a month and have put it on for free on the local hospital's bulletin board. This is something I have done in the past for a friend of a friend but have never advertised like this before :o

oh, and I've been emailed to say i've won an Anchor Sunshine Umbrella :D

I know however that I will be spending on a meal and a few drinks with my bezzie mate tonight. This has been budgeted for out of my remaining £45 so will try and keep spending as low as poss whilst still having a really fab time

Thanks for reading peeps...I recommend that if you are planning on getting married take a look at Scottishspendaholic's diary for some mse style wedding ideas :T
