Hi there again,
My mortgage is over a 25yr term and has 22yrs left. If I wanted to extend the term of the mortgage to reduce my payments while I am studying, do I have to apply for a new mortgage or would they be able to extend the term of the mortgage I currently have?
Thanks

Call you lender and ask, they will either say no or they will do so and charge you £50. No new mortgage though, its just an admin task.
Ps. Dont tell them your studying unless asked."Banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies." Thomas Jefferson
