Hi there
Just a wee post to say I am about to be debt free and wanna thank you all for your support throughout my time!
Although I am still vyoung and was only in about 1500 debt due to a car I bought and increased insurance payments and stuff... I cancelled the insurance last week so saved money from that and have got a buyer for my car who is actually giving me £100 more than what I had paid for it in the first place!
So I am getting debt free plus i am gonna have a nice positive bank balance again lol
I know I didn't have a lot of debt in comparison to a lot of others, but I have really enjoyed posting and following everyone and making cuts here and there to help me manage...
So thanks and I will defo still be following along and posting away, and think I am lucky I found this site so young as it will let me keep focussed and debt free in my future (I hope!)

I know I didnt have a lot of debt and hence it was a quick fix to get out of it really... was never in debt before until I bought that car (which i abso loved but needed to realise i cant have everything i want in life yet! lol)
But I have hated every minute of being in debt and so know it is the right decision to have money in my bank again so I can start saving and enjoy being young

Hi Ostinato
Well done on becoming debt free. I only wish I had found this site when I was a lot younger and in a lot less debt.
All I can say to you is never forget what it felt like to be in debt, keep reading the forum to remind you of how debt impacts on lives...and you will hopefully never get into 'bad' debt again (not all debt is bad)NR [STRIKE]£5542[/STRIKE]£2771 BC [STRIKE]£7987[/STRIKE]£7700 BC [STRIKE]£3000[/STRIKE]£5100 Cat1 Pd Cat2 Pd Ulstr [STRIKE]£3400[/STRIKE]£3070 TSB [STRIKE]£4851[/STRIKE]£4400 MBNA [STRIKE]£7700[/STRIKE]£3887 NWst [STRIKE]£950[/STRIKE] £700 Hfx [STRIKE]£10097[/STRIKE]£10050 Asda [STRIKE]£398[/STRIKE] £315 HFX1 Pd Hfx2 [STRIKE]£3133[/STRIKE] £3000

Now you have the rest of your young life to enjoy yourself, and you learned a valuable lesson.
