I have enjoyed watching this wee series with Barry Douglas and the children from Belfast performing with Camarada Ireland having never played a musical instrument before. I thought they did very well and were great kids who did seem to enjoy it.

They were presented with their own instruments by the Arts Council after their performance. I wonder if anyone knows any of the kids and did they continue with their music as there wasn't an update after the show.

Anyone know? (sorry not money related)

    I agree - loved the programme AND Barry Douglas !! I think the parents of the children involved will think it was MONEYSAVING since they all earned free instruments - what a fab gift - my instrument playing children all screamed when that happened!! I really hope they continue to play - there was some definite blossoming talent there!
