Just heard about Scarlet Mist on the radio. They advertise concert tickets for people who genuinely cant go.

I've had a quick look and they have tickets available for Robbie, Kylie, Madonna etc all at face value + P+P costs....One in the eye for the touts!! :T

Definately a bargain if you want to go to a sold out concert but begrudge paying over-inflated prices from ebay and other companies that deal in these tickets.

I read about another one in the paper today - stopout.com.

Haven't had a look yet but report says it's the same idea, set up by guy fed up with touts. Also said that you have to sell one at face value first before you can buy one.

Scarlet Mist is a wicked idea. Before my DFW light bulb moment I used to go to a LOT of gigs and festivals and it always wound me up that within seconds of tickets going on sale (Oasis's club gigs last year for one) and being sold out they all appear on eBay by touts. I cannot tell you how much I loathe the touts :mad:

Scarlet Mist is for those genuine music fans who hate to see the touts making a packet out of us!

seems like a good idea, i got a spare ticket for a concert later in the year which i was gonna stick it on a buy it now on ebay if i had to sell it but mite use this

I love scarlet mist.. it's a great site.. Tickets aren't really for sale as such - you put in your details and they put you in touch with people that have them for sale so you can organise meeting up and things..
