mortgage nearly completed but....

This is a question from a friend of mine who does nt use the net,
They have a joint mortgage offer from Halifax, 3 weeks from completion. But since the mortgage offer they both have had late payments registered on credit file. His by mistake from Santander(who say they will remove)
Hers by Barc card paid 1 day late.
Mort provider has since checked there file for a 2nd time.
Will this cause them to lose mortgage ???

I would be surprised but they ought to ring the lender and make sure all is ok before they exchange contracts if this is a purchase.Happily an ex mortgage broker!0

How do lenders view say 2 or 3 late payments in 12months, between 2 people ??0
