do I need a solicitor for remortgage

Bought a flat not long ago. Now I can get cheap mortgage from my wife's employer. So my question is whether I need a solicitor for remortgage?

    Yes. The new lender will require this to ensure everything is above board and the Land Registery notified of their charge.
