Help with CCJ's and C.L.finance

This is a bit of a saga. I had three store cards which were with G.E.Bank and i am quite sure that i would qualify for mis sold ppi. But anyway as everyone knows they were taken over by Santander in turn my debt was moved on to C.L.finance who in turn got CCJ's. The amount i was ordered to pay was so high that i had to apply for a variation. This was put down to £20 a month for each. I think however that in the bombardment of papers etc i got myself very confused and only have the variation of two. I have since then been paying £60.00 per month £20 x 3. One payment was late because these are on standing order and i didn't actually realise that it would only go out if the funds were in on the day. I immediately did a transfer for the amount and have continued with the instalments. The next thing i know they have had the case moved to Bradford which is the other end of the country they have a date for 01/04/2010 to apply for a charge on my leasehold property. I have never had any proof of assignment but my first thing is can i get the date moved back and can i apply to have this heard closer to home?

I'm afraid I can't offer any advice as I don't know much about CCJs, but I thought I'd give your thread a wee bump to see if any-one else can offer some useful advice.

Can you advise if you have the original default and termination letters?

you can alpply to your local court to get the hearing moved, if you give the county court for you area a call they will be able to advice you wich form etc
