Tesco - random question about when stock goes out

OK - asking this on the offchance someone here knows (because someone here generally DOES know most things). I'm after a game that comes out tomorrow - would like to avoid having to trek around town and am only off work in the morning anyhow.

Does anyone know what time of day generally Tesco (or Asda - got one of 'em near as well) put new releases out on launch day - it's something they're very likely to be carrying. I'll go pick it up there if I can do - but trying to avoid a wasted journey if at all possible.

Hi, I work in a 24hr Asda and any new releases go on sale from midnight on the day of release.

Thanks - that's the answer I was after... midnight tour of the midlands then methinks!

I would ring the stores in question to check - my local stores depend very much on who is working on the entertainment section on any particular day. The local Tesco put out major releases at midnight, like Fifa and CoD, but not every single new game. Morrisons did not even put out Fifa until 10.30 am on the day of release because that was when the Homeware person started work!

If ours will stock it our 24hr Tesco release games at midnight on release day but I would call and check just to save a wasted journey

In conclusion - had to run around the 3 supermarkets nearest us before Mr T came up trumps... game obtained... happy dizzi... time to geek it up a bit (Final Fantasy in case anyone's wondering the cause of my addiction)!
