So what's best?
There's only one way to find out....Ask on the MSE forum!
My daughter has recently been receiving letters from the CSA in Preston saying her ex should pay 'x' amount but within days has a letter from CSA East Sussex saying he should be paying 'y' amount! Where 'x' is virtually half of 'y' !
So can anyone tell us why she's getting post from two sources and the amounts are not even close?.
(not that the amount matters much as her ex pays what he sees fit! which for the past few years has been £23/month)

Is it possible that one amount is the normal assessment amount & the other is normal assessment amount plus any arrears payable?
If this is the case, one will be the assessment notification & the other should be the payment schedule.Donedoingdebt Lightbulb moment January 2000. Debt at highest approx £102,000. Debt now (October 2009 - absolutely fork all!!!)
