I want to spend my luncheon vouchers

Hi
Not sure if this is the right place but I need some advice. I have been doing the pinecone surveys for a while and have about £50 of luncheon vouchers. It lists on the back of the vouchers the places you can spend them, one is boots, do you have to spend them on food or can I spend them on anything in boots? I did ask in a small branch but the girl on the checkout said she didn't know. They run out in Dec as I am having a baby I would love to use them in Boots if I can.

    Hi,
I'm with pinecone as well, i use them for my monthly shop. Just give them to the cashier & they will take it off the total for whatever you purchase, have used in all the major supermarkets & Boots. Goodluck HTH :)

Most supermarkets take them and just knock them off the total regardless of what has been bought. Although some places don't take them sometimes despite it saying so on the booklets.
2p off is still 2p off!

I generally use them in Tesco to buy a gift or clothes so I feel its more of a treat :) The self service tills won't take them but they will put them through manually.
  • Just to go slightly off topic a bit, my work are talking about giving us vouchers for our dinners instead of providing us with dinner as they do now. We were thinking of just giving asda vouchers, didnt realise you could get ones that cover lots of shops.
Anyone got any idea how we go about getting them??? Is theer a company that do them?????

I have tried using them in Boots but sometimes they will only accept them if you're buying food.

Generally we save the booklets till Christmas and use them in Morrisons. Certainly makes Christmas a little cheaper.

I worked in Boots a few years ago (about 3) and we were told to take them for anything, so as usual it depends on the store policy; I'd ring ahead just to be sure.
