Apologies, I know similar questions have been asked before, but I'm just wondering what sells best on ebay.
I'm having a clear out & plan to do a carbootsale when the weather picks up, but thought it might be worth trying a few items on ebay in meantime.
Thanks

anything designer, or new with tags.
Kids clothes don't seem to sell that well in my opinion as they are that cheap already.0 -
Baby toys and equipment seem to do amazingly well. My sister and bro-in-law put all their little one's outgrown stuff on eBay and it sold exceptionally well. Many of the items had watchers within a few minutes of posting.
As with everything though, I'd imagine there's pretty stiff competition, so if you're doing it for long-term profits, check out the competition beforehand. My Mind Not Only Wanders..... Sometimes I Lose It Completely.....0 -

whatever you choose, try to have good pictures - preferably several, but try amazon or play for books/dvd/cd, as they stay listed for longer and its soo much quicker than ebay.:money:0

What would people say the best things to sell are? What about make up and beauty things? Home made things i have heard don't do that well?~ Arguing with a fool just proves there are two ~

I think vintage and shabby chic things do well - my cousin buys from charity shops wears them then sells on ebay! she does well -0

When i want to track what sells well on ebay, i just go to the completed listings icon on the left, and browse through different categories. Recently i noticed
Disney items
anything train related
war memorabillia
Perfume new and used. I think people collect bottles.
basically if you have anything old/vintage/retro lying around theres a good chance you will get interest.otherwise, as already mentioned, designer clothing, famous high st do well like topshop and zara.
Anything collectable.
Make up i find always sells better in job lots, unless new and unused, but even then can be a little bit tricky.2014 wins: 2x £100 vouchers, 1 nt stay at st james hotel nottingham, ellas kitchen pouches, x2 gadget show tickets,x2 dresses, dvds, mr kiplings, crate of IPA,wall mural, sleep spray, beach towel, Best win to date: 7 night break in Cornwall barn conversion:j thanks to everyone who posts!0 -
Thanks for all the ideas.
I've gone up a dress size in the past few months, so I've got a few items of clothing from m&s & next sales (with tags) which were bought on impulse but don't really fit so I'll try those on ebay.
Some of the other stuff is a past it's best, but I'll do a bootsale in the summer, I've been amazed at what people have bought from me there in the past.0
