Hello Everyone,
I am selling my house and paying off my mortgage with the proceeds.
When am I obliged legally to inform the lender of the sale?
Do I tell them at the start of the process, or when I have had an offer?
Or do I wait until I have the money in the bank?
My mortgage is a Together mortgage from the Northern Rock.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Regards
K

Your solicitor will deal with all of the correspondence with your bs. He/she will request a redemption figure in advance of completion, then settle your mortgage and pay any balance over to you.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

I'm sorry, I don't apologise. That's just the way I am. Homer (Simpson)0
