CM Payments

I'm new to this and would appreciate a little help with a CSA query.
Will the csa increase cm payments if a nrp sells their house and pays the lump sum from the sale into the bank? (House has never belonged to pwc)
Idea is to buy a new home with the lump sum (don't know how long this will take)
Would appreciate any advice.

Hi RMatt, no the sale of a house and a lump sum going in to the NRP's bank account will not affect the amount of the child maintenance assessment. Savings/sale of property is not income and is not included in the assessment calculation.0

Unless it is over 65k0

Really? That's the first time I've ever heard that and I've worked there several years (although I don't actually do assessments, I admit, but I've asked this question at work and been told a definite 'no'!)! God it's scary isn't it, no wonder the place is in such a mess when the staff aren't even told half the rules.
Does that apply to old rules cases Kelloggs?0 -
Assets over 65k can count on a variation.0
