only take what you really need - its an ideal time to declutter
be sure to label the box from which room it belongs so that you can find things easier.
if you have time and can be bothered make a list of what is in the boxes - its easier than emptying boxes to find something
get packing up the stuff you are not using now
make sure you have all the stuff you need for the first day/night in a well marked box so that it is first to be unpacked - bedlinen etc, clothes, special toys, loo roll and then food and drink and dishes cutlery tinopener and bottle opener!!!
I am sure we will all be able to chip in with ideas for you!!!
You can still post and tell us how you are doing even if you are not doing the lists - but you could use the list to focus on that room?
toots xx
ETA and with Dusty's thread too that would be a brilliant place to get going - make yourself a list ( I love lists!!!) of what needs to be done and what your deadlines are so you dont get caught out! xxPeace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
Live each day as if its your last

Thanks to the 3 muskateers for everything. I am feeling really grumpy, just spent the last hour and half ironing and am mad at Dh for staying upstairs and not bringing me a drink:rotfl: only coffee mind but he has now seen the error of his ways and apologised but I still have this mad feeling, must just be the usual sunday night feeling I guess. The weekends go so quickly don't they?
My personal list
1) make time for me, sewing, swimming, reading, allotment
2) post card for J
3) do shotgun renewal for K
4) avoid toxic grandma this week and let lazy useless batard of her son step up
5) try to avoid other visitors too this week
6) park with kids
7) library with kids
8) pay nursery fees
9) dinner money cheque
