The five best words

We got a dreaded brown envelope from the CSA yesterday - dreaded opening it as we had advised CSA that QC had been "excluded" from college for non-attendance - we told them this on 1/2.

Opened the letter

YOUR CASE IS NOW CLOSED

We will still have arrears to pay but we that is fine - our 15 years of CSA are now over.

Thank you Kelloggs for all the help you have given us over the last couple of years

Good luck all of you still dealing with these people

    Thanks Mick
It stated "Your Case is now closed" - the reason stated was the
the QC no longer qualified for Child Benefit and liability had ended

A CSA case will never completely close if there are arrears remaining, even when the liability ends and the case ceases to charge any more. The case will remain open on the computer system until the arrears are paid.

As stated we know we have arrears to pay and we have agreed
that with the CSA on Saturday - letter still states YOUR CASE IS NOW CLOSED - main thing is we have reduced our payments for £600 per month to £200
