I get it now, my daughter is not my OH daughter so thought that was the same

I would use the first example I did, because the kids will love it as its 'grown up' to them, (sorry didn't make that clear first time) and we know how much kids love being 'grown up' but the adults will 'get' its from the children!!

My cousin is doing this, her wording reads -

It will be a great day at (the venue) and then we are having a party at (reception venue)

They have time/date location at the bottom, along with RSVP details.
