there was stock in Scotland when I saw this first, but I've tried 3 nearest stores to me just now and they're all out of stock

barely suprised at that price, but still that's a lil frustrating.
if it's out of stock everywhere now they should take it off the site.

Anyone wanting a decent Seiko watch cheap, get a Seiko 5 from ebay. I've bought 2 from a seller in Singapore, and they're excellent watches for the money.

I bought my wife an automatic Omega - got that from discountwatches.com, after getting stung for import duty, it wasn't *that* much cheaper than buying over here.

Beware that seiko are getting greedy for replacing batteries. They charge £30 for a battery and replacement seals for seiko branded waterproof watches. The battery only costs a quid or so online, but they pressure test it to make sure it is still waterproof.
I bought a tool and battery for under a tenner from watchbattery.co.uk and changed my one.
